With my experience in the Electrical/Lighting/Energy market and my connections within China I realised that now is the time to hit the Nigerian/African markets hard.
The vision I see for Excelor Energy should be easy achievable with the partnerships formed so far within the Chinese market. The companies products will focus on medium to high end quality to ensure a good reputation is built within the market for the brand.
The short term goal to get going should be to manufacture products in China and then export to the relevant project areas…the longer term vision should be to set up assembly within Nigeria/Africa to encourage employment to the local areas and build confidence with the brand and with local representation.
The easiest way to get going will be on Streetlighting…either standard streetlighting or Solar streetlighting and other associated lighting products manufactured by my partner company in Hangzhou, China. Please take a look at the website here

I have the rights for this companies products within Nigeria and we are working on a strategy to roll out to the rest of Africa. I have the full backing from this company whether it be technical support, foreign travel for trade shows/meetings or developing new products….we can supply any product within this companies remit.
Other products we can focus on/offer are power cables, battery storage, Solar panels and other associated products that fit within the renewable sector.
I have good contacts within China to be able to source most products fairly easily to meet price point and quality.. the vision here would be to set up in a similar way to the Streetlighting company and make them our strategic partner ( I am working on finding the correct partners currently)
The other thing to take into consideration would be to possibly look for partners within other African nations to manage projects …maybe to further build our brand i.e Excelor Energy (Namibia) , Excelor Energy (Ghana) or we simply act as a supply company based in Nigeria into the different companies …we could discuss this further.
I think the key is to making the right connections and identifying the opportunities …finding the suitable products within China is the easy part and with 15 years experience of procurement within China I understand that market pretty well.
